Great Place to Work Institute lists the top 50 organisations in Finland
Mepco continues to rise in the rankings of Finland’s best places to work

The Great Place to Work Institute has published its latest list of Finland's best places to work. Mepco Oy's continued efforts on behalf of its staff have raised the company into the leading group for 2011.
The Great Place to Work Institute (GPTWI) carries out its Great Places to Work survey in around 40 countries annually. The survey has been conducted in Finland since 2002. The newly published list names the 50 top organisations in Finland. The survey analysed employees' experiences and companies' management structures. This year, around 23,000 Finnish employees responded to the questionnaire that was sent out.
The top places to work in 2011 were recognised at a gala award ceremony in Helsinki on 10 February 2011. Mepco placed among the highest-rated companies in the overall list, which entitles it to use the "Great Place to Work 2011" logo.
"We've taken part in the survey several times, and our ranking has risen every time. This steady improvement is a result of our systematic investment in the well-being of our staff. Highly motivated and professional employees have been a critical factor in our company's success," said Markku Pekkola, Mepco Oy's managing director.
